# Plivo credentials

You can use these credentials to authenticate the following nodes:

## Using basic auth <a href="#using-basic-auth" id="using-basic-auth"></a>

To configure this credential, you'll need:

* An **Auth ID**: Acts like your username. Copy yours from the **Overview** page of the Plivo [console](https://console.plivo.com/dashboard/).
* An **Auth Token**: Acts like a password. Copy yours from the **Overview** page of the Plivo [console](https://console.plivo.com/dashboard/).
