# Demio credentials

You can use these credentials to authenticate the following nodes:

## Using API key <a href="#using-api-key" id="using-api-key"></a>

To configure this credential, you'll need:

* An **API Key**
* An **API Secret**

You must have Owner status in Demio to generate API keys and secrets. To view and generate API keys and secrets, go to **Account Settings > API**. Refer to the [Demio Account Owner Settings documentation](https://help.demio.com/en/articles/6456716-account-owner-settings) for more detailed steps.
